CABLE RECYCLING
FROM MIXED CABLE TO REUSABLE COPPER.
Copper cable recycling starts with careful assessment and sorting. We separate cable types by construction, size and copper content so each batch can move through the most suitable processing route. This helps recover a cleaner, more consistent copper fraction and keeps valuable metal in circulation.
Oversized cable may be prepared before processing, while mixed electrical cable is reduced into manageable pieces for the granulation line. Granulators break cable down so the copper conductor and outer insulation can be separated efficiently.

HOW GRANULATORS AND SEPARATORS RECOVER COPPER.
Once cable has been sized for processing, granulators reduce it into smaller particles. The process liberates copper from its plastic insulation without losing sight of the material quality needed downstream.
Separation equipment then sorts the copper-rich material away from lighter insulation fractions. This stage is critical: effective separation helps produce clean copper granules that can be returned to the recycling supply chain as a reusable raw material. The result is a practical, lower-waste route for cable that might otherwise be discarded.

THE END RESULT: COPPER READY FOR ITS NEXT USE.
By combining sorting, granulation and separation, we help turn redundant cable into a valuable recovered material. This supports a more circular supply chain, reduces reliance on virgin metal, and gives businesses a clear route for handling unwanted electrical cable responsibly.
